Setting up streaming services on a new device should be simple — but it can get confusing fast. This guide covers how to set up streaming apps on every major device including Firestick, Roku, Smart TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and mobile phones.
Setting Up on Amazon Firestick
The Amazon Firestick is one of the most popular streaming devices. Here's how to set it up:
- Plug the Firestick into an available HDMI port on your TV
- Plug the Firestick power adapter into an outlet
- Switch your TV's input to the correct HDMI source
- Follow the on-screen setup — connect to Wi-Fi and sign in to your Amazon account
- Go to the Search icon and find any streaming app you want
- Download and install the app, then sign in with your account credentials
Setting Up on Roku
